This privacy policy explains how raum. handles your information. By using raum., you agree to this privacy policy.

collected data

raum. stores your trips, visited countries, dates, cities, notes, display name, and app preferences locally on your device.

If iCloud is available, this data may also sync through Apple's private iCloud database. This helps keep your data available across your own devices. I do not have access to your private iCloud data. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information about iCloud.

raum. may ask for location permission during onboarding to suggest your home country. Your precise location is not stored by raum.; it is only used to resolve a country suggestion.

usage data

raum. uses TelemetryDeck to collect privacy-friendly analytics. This includes events such as app launches, opened screens, selected settings, and broad usage counts. Some analytics events may include country codes or continents, for example when a country is selected or stamped.

Analytics are used only to understand and improve the app. raum. does not send notes, exact trip dates, city names, precise coordinates, or personal contact information to TelemetryDeck.

If you have opted in to share analytics with Apple, Apple may also provide anonymous or aggregated app analytics.

app store distribution and purchases

If you download raum. through the App Store or purchase raum+, Apple processes the purchase and links it to your Apple Account according to Apple's Privacy Policy.

raum. uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and unlock raum+. RevenueCat may process purchase history and anonymous purchase identifiers. I do not have access to your bank details, cards, or personal financial information.

data deletion

You can delete your trip data inside the app. Deleting the app removes the local copy from your device. If you use iCloud sync, iCloud data may remain in your Apple account until it is deleted through the app or your iCloud storage settings.
